Here's a few pages to play with. Congratulations on your decision to pick up the violin again. Remember, every day that you play, you are a player. The physiological benefits alone are a strong argument to keep that instrument out of it's case, propped up and teasing you to pick it up like a favorite cat.

The first few links are about scales and I threw in a few where you can download some sheet music as well, just in case you don't have any laying around the house. Eventually you will want to buy some, but until you get around to it maybe there is something here to get you started.

Hope this helps.

Good for you, picking up your instrument again! I hope you enjoy it, it is so much fun to play, and such a challenge. Below looks like a good link to start with. Try to find a community orchestra in your area to play in. Most towns have one.
You want to download sheet music for scales... or the recording? You could buy a scale book if you really want... ahhhh painful memories. LOL.
"Internet Resources for Violin Students" has some free resources, including scale downloads. Scroll down to SCALES:

if you're serious about violin, get the flesch scale system book....it has everything: major and minor scales, arpeggios, 3rds, 6ths, octaves, 10ths, etc....it's my least favorite part of practicing, but it is essential to any violinist's library. however, if you're doing it for fun, i'd suggest just writing them on staff paper or something...
